WILD RIVERS
ADVENTURE
July 17-23, 2022
Forest Passes and Rivers
A journey deep into the remote forests of the southern coastal area. These roads are hardly used due to the fact they are wander about the mountains through many canyons and rivers. Plan on days of very little human activity. Once along the coast we will enjoy the seaside towns of Fort Orford, Gold Beach and Bandon. A rest day in Bandon to enjoy the local hospitality and relaxing vibe. Then we make our way through the Rouge canyon back to Jacksonville.
As always with any Wheeltales adventure, be prepared to ride about 60 miles a day with some days have 4000 to 5000 ft of climbing. Not all days but some. This will be well worth the trip.
Here is a link to the preliminary route. This is likely to change once camping reservations are made and reconnaissance is finished.
